Dedicated Community of Music Enthusiasts

Pennsylvania Federation of Music Clubs (PFMC), is a dedicated community of music enthusiasts committed to fostering musical excellence and education across the state. Since 1916, we have united musicians, educators, and students through a wide range of programs, competitions, and events. Our mission is to celebrate and elevate music in all its forms, while providing valuable opportunities for growth and recognition.

Our History

Founded in 1893 during the World’s Columbian Exposition and officially organized in 1898, the National Federation of Music Clubs (NFMC) has grown into the world’s largest philanthropic music organization. Recognized by the United States Congress and affiliated with the United Nations, NFMC supports American music and musicians through its extensive network of 6,000 related clubs and organizations. Members include a diverse group of musicians, educators, and music enthusiasts committed to enriching their communities with vibrant musical and cultural experiences.
